Dear Daddies - Holding Worlds
"You think too little of your value and too much of your troublemaking." I flatly told him after a vulnerable moment.
I make trouble, the kids make trouble, and we all know we are worth the steep cost of doing business, I hope! If we don't, we have massive problems. Well, news flash, Daddies, same is true of you.
There is no upgrading for a better daddy model once we have him. I'm not saying it's impossible to do under any circumstances, but it's worse than sawing off a leg to get another part sewn on, in terms of emotional trauma to the whole family.
We are one in heart, and daddies are vital organs in the family, as much as any other member.
Not only that, but you family men may have noticed the brunt of accountability falling on you. Bad news, it's not in your head; it's a sign that you are the biggest pole at the center of the tent. You are the one that bad men will topple first if they can, to leave your wife and children for easy pickings afterwards.
You can stop yourself from helping your enemies destroy you. How? By respecting your massive value in addition to the other members' massive values! You don't lay down your life for your family because it's less valuable or needed, you do it because you stand the best chance of fulfilling your purpose that way.

This reminds me of a Cherokee proverb, Jess.
