Stubborn Fools
What would he say,
If he could speak today,
Of his two favorite stubborn fools?
"What a mess they made,
Of the circus they played,
With the match that I made of the two.
I sent them into the trees,
And told them, "Do as you please"
And they returned to me, a masterpiece.
They will carry the flame,
That that passes my name,
After I am away on that high plane.
My greatest achievement,
Was to teach it,
And pass it on to the both of you.
Now take your turn,
Help others learn,
This gift that I gave to you.
Unite if you can,
Come together again,
But if not, that's okay too."
