It's a travesty how often we sacrifice the free-thinking, innovative, more humane, just, and wise thought of our youth to perpetuate antiquated bias, cruel prejudice, retrograde ideas, institutional injustice...the old guard.

I totally agree, so much needs to change and the changes that do happen are often the wrong things! Life's crazy like that, unfortunately. Good spill to page dear poet.
