A Thought

Somewhere out there, wherever you may be,
I send a thought out to thee:
"Where are you?
How are you?
What are you doing right now?
Me? I could be better, I'm missing you, right now...."
I know you'll get it,
And think upon it,
Because I feel your thoughts of me,
When something reminds you of me,
Or when you know it's me
Who's been thinking of you,
This is true,
And this is what keeps away the sharp fangs of loneliness,
Looking for the flesh of lovesick sadness,
Sitting ducks, all alone,
But with these thoughts, I'm never alone.
