Global Warming Warning

Ice doesn't melt when it is cold. The End. That's why the argument that the Earth goes through warming trends was introduced. It's no surprise that some people believe the Earth is flat.

I have an issue or two with those flat earthers too, but I'll post that for another day.

The science is there, the proof is there and yet I can't believe how idiotic these politicians sound when they deny it.

It's all political, Wally.  Greed - I sense a paradigm shift coming very soon. I feel it in my bones.

This is dire warning to take heed to.

I think that once cities are underwater and it's costing billions to fix the issue, those who denied it and lobbied against laws to help protect the environment should be fined (well their estates).

That or take them on a expedition, have them live in a glacier and wish them luck surfing the icy cold waters as they fall into the sea.

Yes, I believe that change is coming too.

Denial is such a strong component of greed...and a very human trait. It's very disheartening. I think we're at the point of no return now. Thank you for entering this poem in the Unnatural Nature comp!

Yes, it's very sad and it's scary that the climate will only get worse. I remember hearing that during COVID, the oceans started getting cleaner and the air quality improved all over the world.
