♪a rhymed, mirrored octet♪

when i was young and skies were blue
and clouds chased one another
under  the shade  of  the
sweet spreading mango
m a n y  secrets
i would hide
from  m y
friends
t h e n
w h e n  i
truth denied
all  my  regrets
a  restless  tango
flamed by the deep water
that  swept  away  my  buffer
taught me from death to start anew
