I loved
our daily interaction
Your weird
imitation of me
That always made me smile

I loved your reaction
To my playful insults
(yeah, not everyone will get that )

But that's why I loved
what we had
Because it was OURS!

People have their inside jokes
And so did we

But we also had this "inside" love
That NOBODY could see!

Suddenly
I get less
And less
And less
Of this...

I'm afraid...

I am petrified
that "US"
will become "ME"

Me... alone

Me all over again!

for a man
that loved the "HIM"
more than the "US"

Me wanting
the man
That would rather
be alone
Than to share
One minute
More
with me...

I'll be inside out
Looking for
"YOU"

Wondering what I did wrong
To lose the "HIM"
that made
"US"
