Image for the poem overcast skies

overcast skies

a familiar gray hue
lingers over my room
i hop out of bed
the weather i read
might require a sled
but i don’t care
me and fall make a great pair
overcast skies
the best time to fantasize
my want for you intensifies
i hope you think of me
when you hear the breeze
free flowing through the leaves
