Lift and let go

Start my regimen, multitude of reps quick break into the next. I pick the world up and ease it down. Thoughts of my love, bills, work, and all it seems so complex. Thoughts keep swirling around.

Sweat drips off my body, like my burdens rolling away. Heart pounding in my chest just a little more. Weights keep getting heavier like the burdens of life each day. Viens bulging from every muscle burning at the very core.

Like all burdens ive done what i can. Set them aside lay them down. Stand in the shower wash away the burdens of my sin. Stand in front of a mirror in hopes im found.

Dry off deodorant on. Slip on my boxer briefs pants up shirt down. Now I let my burdens begone. See what enjoyment life has found.

You cant carry the world everyday. Love and wish well all that you meet. Dont hide from the problem they dont go away. Yet dont let it build in your mind til you cant stand on your feet.
