Philosophy For Life
When I was like Hippos Go Berserk!
no guide to show me the way
I was the untethered soul
immersed in Zen Meditation.
Though not quite Turning Japanese
decided on A Trip to South America
maybe discover my own
Book of Thorns replacing my youth
& Pocket Pal
with my Pocket Zen.
I did managed to uncover
The Hound of Heaven
amidst Sapiens in the
Southern Hemisphere
guiding me
to a new type of Philosophy For Life.

now now
You know i don't join comps to compete
only to get a broader readership audience
but thank You, anyways
Some of the books were mailed to me by friends
who felt i should read a book they loved.

Epic awesome from Mr Tallen. Bravo to your ability to fit them into a cohesive flow. Did you already know/read all those books, or did you do research for titles?🤔

Every book mentioned here is a book i own.
Some i've read multiple times and some i am still reading.
Most were mailed to me (not the Zen books)
Very appreciative of You stopping by to read
and share Your thoughts, Beautiful

i am both surprised and delighted
that my spill
drew You in to the point of
kind share
&
Honor for the RL add
( Psst, You might want to explore the idea of entering comps for fun and to increase Your readers to Your spills. It's my main reason i enter)

Funny You mention allpoetry
this year is my 6th year there
and i am pretty certain i never
entered a single competition.
Probably because i don't give my ink enough credit
Here in the Deep i usually enter comps that resonate and i believe will be Fun to create a spill for the OP's parameters set forth.
I love Your ink, Mical
I don't always understand it but i like it anyways.

LOL -- Just like my taste in music
so too
is my taste in books.
Read - Sapiens, 2 years ago and still trying to get all my closest friends to read this book!!
Do You have the book,
Japanese Death Poems or The Black Science?
Super different and yet super interesting in their own inks

PM me Your address or email address
and i'll email You my copy
as i do not like to hold onto books
Or i'll mail You a clean copy as a gift to You; either way, I am delighted to do it.

Your share has made my face a wee bit wet
(happy rain)
I agree, as we normally do read what interests us
and so,
gets added to the potion in our cauldron
we neverendingly conjure up and stir
throughout our Tao
thank You, Beautiful
for the kind share
