INKlings4

INKling No4 – justice

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” Dr Martin Luther King Jr

avenge the naked souls
of those who hunger
for crumbs that fall from
tables where they linger
bring nurture to the fatherless
instead of scorn
take time to bless
the prisoner
behind the wall
hears no kind voice
unless you call
when love and mercy
are your friends
justice will pain
and sorrow end
