The night I knew
I'd never hear
"I love you"
again..

I closed my casket

I slept to imaginary stars
touching synthetic hearts
with frozen hands

I want you to understand
the pain that clashed
with the emptiness
of my tomb
when I yearned to say

You were just so warm
strong and everything
