Sounds In The Night

You really have a way of capturing the moment in its own emotion, Lozzamus.

In the spirit of honest critique, I suggest the following:

Sounds In The Night ( I'm thinking a different title? You already have night in L1 - perhaps 'Nocturnal Sounds' or something of that nature )

night has fallen
sunset vanished
a plane hums in the [distance] ( works beautifully with vanished AND the the s consonance throughout the verse )

silence

cars pass (cars passing implies on the street outside )

voices

silence[,] again

inside the flat/ a tap drips ( I suggest dividing the line )

In essence, it would read as such:


Nocturnal sounds

night has fallen
sunset vanished
a plane hums in the distance

silence

cars pass

voices

silence, again

inside the flat
               a tap drips

You always have a solid foundation, Lozzamus, and I always enjoy the imagery/emotion of the moment.  
All I ever do is simply trim the fat a bit.

Yes! Totally minimalist (in my opinion). Conveys an idea of being so alone all that is left is the world around you. I dont know if this was your,intent, but that's what i taken from it. Well done Lozzamus.

Yes, it was pretty much based on solitude and sounds heard in the solitude.
