(But there is eternity)
WoW that came out of nowhere
Like a karate chop
It scrambles the brain
We always depended on forever
And now it’s gone forever
WoW that came out of nowhere
Like a karate chop
It scrambles the brain
We always depended on forever
And now it’s gone forever

Thank you dear reader for your comment - I hope after it sinks in you might know that eternity is just as hopeful an element - simply put.
And welcome to the Deep end as they say.

A splendid entry, Kathy. An earthly lifetime is a drop of rain running through the fingers of a cupped hand that holds little promise. Good luck in the comp.

What a lovely poem and accompanying visual, Kathy. It also reminds me of Emily Dickinson. Beautifully done. Best of luck in the comp.

I'm most thankful for your thoughts in this reply dear Ahavati as I always learn. I was not aware of the reminder of our Emily - we both love her so - yet it seems fitting that her spirit lingers even here. Thank you for showing me this.

This strikes a deep chord in me about the zen assertion that now is the only true eternity. The brevity of the write lends a singular impact. Terrific to contemplate.

Thank you Ethan. My response is late because I just logged on here for a few minutes after days of being offline.
I am so very moved by your comment on my effort. And my best to you also.
