The Fabric of a Dream
The features of your face are embedded in my brain
Like photographs and portraits etched in my heart
Every inch of your skin is like the fabric of a dream
The texture and structure is better than any art
I can close my eyes and lunge into a wistful fantasy
When the passion burns just beyond my clutch
Embracing in the warmth of your glow so I sow
And feel the beauty of your soft and alluring touch
Every caress that races and traces from your lips
Has me dying a little death flying to paradise
With each and every breath the emotion swells
It intensifies when I look deep into your eyes
You’re there in both ways - aspiration and vision
Like an apparition of a wish yearned that came true
A déjà vu of memories of a love longed and lived
Then ad-libbed seductively with a silent pas de deux
Your expressions are so delightful even statuesque
Like an essence undressed with finesse and grace
I embrace the kindling and tingling of my heart
With every part when I see the features of your face
