Sins (with Jade Pandora)

So I captured her heart deep in Dallas,
And I ran from the Devil that day.
But we practiced our sins back in Memphis,
Then we hid them away in L.A.

The Santanas set light to the hillsides,
Where they swept to the Valley below.
Choking back on the haze of Hell’s perfume,
On the Strip, we gave Satan his due.

And a light entered thru’ a stained window
To escape from the stars to her arms.
When I heard it say from its own moon glow,
May I hide from Hades in your charms?

And were sent on our way off to Paris,
Where the remnants of heroes reside
In the depths of the catacomb stillness,
Find relief from the Devil’s abide.

In Elysian Fields these days we settle,
Where we hope you will drop us a line.
Tho’ he found us with all the hard metal,
Now the Devil will judge us our crime.

By his rage at our trespass his last breath,
“In Elysium, dishonor’s spree!”
And at the ends of the earth after death
Is no place for two scoundrels to be!
