Rebel, Rebel - Inspired by Missy
I watch the rising of yeast
Bread developing in a warm nook
I carefully observe grass growing
Always being greener on the other side of the fence
I play the staring game with drying paint
Always drying lighter than the wet variety
Never miss the chance to see dust collecting
Yet failing to grab a duster knowing the solution
I stand guard watching spider webs forming
Wondering if she lost her husband or ate him
Black widows can be extremely mood-driven
I sit for hours watching the window
of my washing machine on a boil wash
sometimes wishing I could change the channel
I reflect while people-watching in the park
but avoid eye contact and conversation
I am willing to watch to flies fucking
In tandem as they dance the dance of Luv
I am the watcher of the rain but undercover
Observing it for hours from my office window
I see it raining down on the good and the wicked
I sit for hours watching a television that's not on
The blank screen is preferable to programing
I immerse myself in a tutting revolution
As I sit at my computer in my pants
I stare at my new kindle, still boxed
Wondering if this is the death of dusty old books
I am a rebel without a pause on reflection
A wide-eyed loner living on the edge
An excitement junkie avoiding rehab
A rogue heavily sedated elephant
My blood pressure, medicated, is very low
I have the resting heart rate of a serial killer
I do not crave excitement
It's so overrated, so 1980's
I don't crave sexual arousal
What would be the point
There is only one thing that always
Makes my blood boil, my rage connection
My killer instinct engaged
That my friends is
INJUSTICE
