Safe Words
Safe words are ships that pass into the night,
Not meant to last forever and a day.
Not an excuse that everything is right,
Nor hoisted flags that signal you’re okay.
More like a false sense of security,
Safe words are ships that pass into the night.
Your ticket, one-way flights of fantasy,
And hopes of ever-after in your sight.
You pack for sunny climes, a tryst delight,
In fact, no truer words had ever spoke.
Safe words are ships that pass into the night,
The ashes of your dreams go up in smoke.
The best of these contentions is a clue,
Instead of reservations, they ignite.
Between your fingers slips an I.O.U.,
Safe words are ships that pass into the night.

The basis is about what is promised to another in a relationship - of lovers, friends...
You find yourself sure that whatever is promised - engagement, a gift, a trip to where you’ve always hoped to go, anything special to you that you find yourself looking forward to, living for that moment with this most wonderful person. But not only does it not happen, something is very wrong, and your lover/friend walks out of your life.
It’s hard to imagine till it happens. So you try to recover by trying not to be so vulnerable in the future. I don’t know about you, but when it’s happened to me, I never seem to be much wiser. By the way, I’m a giving person, not just a receiver. I’ve always tried to believe in people.

I got you. I understand i cant say what i am only what i think i am ive been with my wife along time only one other have i ever dated relationship so i only have those to experiences by my poems you wouldnt know but im actually not sexual at all i merely train exercise and spend time with my family but my wife know what she wants and how to obtain so i just enjoy her for whom she is. Only moments we cant seem to agree is my work and time im away
