Waiting for the Angel

A doomed soul, abandoned by all and sundry,
Wandering in the wilderness in agony, and
Like a shade ensnared in this dungeon,
Beseeching salvation and redemption.
Amidst the growing chaos and gloom,
And from the enduring sufferings,
Seeking a glimpse of light and warmth,
That only your smile can disseminate.
A denounced soul, lonely and alone,
In this dark and dingy world here,
Waiting for an angel to come to save,
To induce life and breath forever,
And that angel is none, but you ..
......You alone.
