We Can't Always Be In Control
Feed me your vulnerability
one word at a time
be assured
you don't have to saddle up
unless it is easier
to tell me
of the exhaustive efforts
it took to manage
every little detail
I see that softness
drape across the posture
of the daily warrior
wielding the worth
fierce stilettos
click on the concrete
taking charge
to assemble
those who do not
Let the curls
caress the shoulders
freeing the need
to run that tight ship
join me in the slow breath
your soft cheek
to the frizz of my chest
And tell me everything
that makes you weak
so I can cradle you
without judgement
I will find honey in the tears
that release you
my tongue always ready
to lap at the truth
of the unexpected spill
of these human moments
My empathy available
to complete the purge
my skin to yours
in the stillness
in these sheets
gripping each sob
calibrating the blues
to clear you
You see an appeal to this
and now that your mind
has sensed the calm
you have opened
to be taken
under the leadership
of my sympathy.

No, we can’t always be in control, and the care forthcoming from others in our time of need is what pulls us through, to the other side !
I like the tenderness & humanistic approach you’ve harnessed as a platform to create upon within this one... 😎🌹

We all fall every now and again and I would wish to be cradled in such comfort during those times. I so agree with those thoughts. Those pure moments are sexy.

I'm with Hershey....
I read this over & over, sighing at such a divine moment that would be. Souls more naked than flesh...laying it all before the one who'll make love to it all. I wrote a poem lonnnng ago, I think was called Fuck Your Ugly, as I thought of what a blessing it would
be to have such acceptance.
Awesome, T...and I have a place for it!👌

This acceptance can be so hard to find, but I would imagine it would be so freeing on many levels. Thanks so much for finding it re-readable. I won't take that compliment lightly!

Asking for one to lie naked in every way, it creates fear usually. This write is bittersweet, softens the concept :)

Many of us have been conditioned to fear this nakedness. Experience somehow has led us to be guarded, especially if we've fallen into the wrong hands. Thank you for the visit.

Vous savez que vous êtes mon morceau le plus doux et le plus tentant de la réalité, et vous savez que je vais toujours envie de votre eau soyeuse, comme il se fond dans l'abîme de ce chocolat sucré, profiter de mon amour

That reads beautifully, even if I can't translate.
No my love, but you can feel it, as you always should.. now I will allow your handsome self to mingle...tender kisses, mine of coarse... and don't wander too far...wink

True. I did feel it. And I think you know by now that I never wander too far.

And all this time I thought it was my sexy Victoria Secret teeny weenie thong you seem to have a craving to push down my legs to my ankles...now before I step out my flimsy attire... baby...go.. shoot… I am trying to be good while in your bed here..

I think it's good of you to be in this bed. Apologies if your enthusiastic showing of them, got the better of me. You are right. We should sleep.
