Broken Puerta, Destrozado Door
Apprehension embraces like a cold shower gasping at the ice needles
each breath drawn out
like agitated drags off the cigarette
sleep if it ever comes
only offers restless respite
when those uneasy thoughts agree
to disagree for an hour or two
right about three-four in the morning
Jumpy wide awake
slumber interrupted by street sweepers
gulls and the day shift
car doors slamming in hurry scurry fashion
gates creaking signaling postman knocks
jehovas witnessing money saving supermarket charities
No answer here
aint nobody home
not that cares anyway
