Tolerating Intolerance

No matter how much we claim to not have biases or intolerances, there is always something deep down in there that gets us in the ass. If you don't look it in the eye, you have no chance of resolving it. And that's always my goal. Own it and disown it. Always with the hope it will one day be cleared out!

If someone's behaviour triggers a response in me, I now automatically ask myself "where am I doing that (to) myself?" I reckon, if I weren't, than it would never bug me in the first place. So being 'triggered' is a useful way to discover stuff about oneself. But you're right; we all have intolerances to something, and some 'types' of people

I am of a similar mind. Everything that hits a sore spot is an opportunity for me to be mindful. Everything is a growth experience.

Indeed we do, all of use, no exceptions, sadly :-(
