The Story So Far(for them that care)

[ It is with much debating with my inner core that I felt the need to return here, that place where it all began. The meeting place of two hearts, I don't know what will become of this writing but I will do my best to tell of when the night ran off with the moon]

They say his balls bigger than dragon eggs, sold his car for a plane ticket. Arrived with less than a thousand pounds to his name. Failure was never an option, this was his time to shine that solo rouge, a top the tightrope no safety net. Just him and the lady who ignited his heart, the love of his life. Opportunity's like these pass by all the time yet seldom do they come back around anytime soon.
So after what was like decades talking on the phone, dusk merging into dawns regret, constant sorrow due timezones differences . Hanging up the phone anxiously waiting the ring ring after an hours merciless slumber. He knew what needed to be done to make this dream reality.
So he flew for twenty four of the most stomach turning, nail bitting hours of his life. What if she would not be at the airport, perhaps this is a mistake. All those negatives cast aside. For that flame burning, yearning in her eyes, oh how they embraced in the airport time truly stood still, whirling around them as they danced for the universe there where time and space cease to exist.

For five years the dream was wonderful, raising their child spending every waking moment seldom apart.
Not saying it was picture perfect, love stories never are.
All he knew, he genuinely loved her true with his every atomic being. Always tried to do his best. Sincerely grateful for her and his childs presence in his life.

The downward spiral happened gradually, as they do with mental issues one happens to guess. Something we all carry and deal with in our own separate ways.
So helpless watching the darkness slowly creep in. For months she wouldn't eat, hardly sleep. Still he tried to remain positive, occasionally glimpses of the old self would peek through, she would laugh nibble a bite or two of what passed for his cooking. He knew though something was not right with his beloved petal, not having anyone to talk to he locked it all deep within. Loved her harder each day, perhaps too hard?
Maybe it was space that she wanted, he was deaf to her pleas at that point, as the paranoid delusions had well and truly set in.

So guess you could say this is the point in the story when the hero finds himself away from his princess. Will they get back together will this have a happy ending.
All he knows is now he finds himself alone, picking up the pieces to an incomplete puzzle.
Having to deal with the trolls at social services. His wife the gate keeper, him holding the key. His daughter with the best mother there is. Him residing in silence all his questions unanswered.
