I read the first line instinctively as 'dead rat, dead cat' (from Jim Morrison & the Doors) which I've just checked out was actually 'dead cats, dead rats" from their song "Break on Through (to the other side)" ... not that this factoid takes away anything from a little spill a 4-year old would love.

Hmm...poor hatted rat to be eaten by a cat...:) Carpe.
