The Bronzed British’un (Winner of 'Who Are You' competition)

Beaten bronzed am I in tone of skin
And Black hole golden is my grin
Forged in thoughts, tempered in words
The Byzantium-British-man I could be
So it seems I am a slight Classicist maybe?
Yet I am a man,
With some plan
Ravenous esoteric music King and Cultured Conqueror,
Fantastical fiend of terrible treasure
And a poet to some measure.
Daft destroyer of vain villains and heroes too
Though that may not be entirely true
Overall a Madgod made mortal
A human at base and an architect at pyramid top
Waiting for that delightful thing to heartbeat stop.
A cruel heart and kind face, scratch that,
A cruel pace and kind start rectify that
To make a thing so hardly discussed
A poetic philosopher advantageous to alliterations ways
This is just a snippet of how I shall exist in my due days.
