Being Different
At one time I wanted to fit in
I followed trends though
Hated the concept of being trendy
But if all fell apart too soon
when I realized I was different
Always a loner before I knew
there was a name for it
Feeling outside everyone else
Doing most of the right things
in life but abstracting concepts
Maybe it's because I'm a Scorpio
We always stand alone
Now later in life, because of my
quiet nature
Everyone wants to share their misery
with me
Usually it's an onslaught of cumbersome babble
I accept being different
Not quite fitting in
Why the fuck do you think I wear so much black ?
Everyday is not a funeral, or is it ?
