Thanks for the note snugglebuck. I seem to be stuck on senryu at the moment; I don't know why but I feel I write more of them than I should.
I follow the Stuckists school at the moment particularly Ella Guru ... but I can appreciate the genius of the he/she/collective that is Banksy, though. Whenever I see a Banksy, I think of the phrase, well informed cynicism is another form of consent. Banksy provides the cynicism and the populace the consent.
Will we ever know for sure - but the impact is always palpable - and I find Banksy art uplifting as a sort of voice -of-the-people that needs to be heard. Like the senryu - captures an essence nicely.
