Of whom I cared not at all.
The decision was made
It wasn’t me
And it wasn’t going to be
And now I wouldn’t want it to be.
But the fact that it isn’t me
That I was dismissed out of hand
Inconsequential
Barely an afterthought
Shattered me
And I can’t explain it
Why I should be so affected
By someone, the opinion
Of whom I cared not at all,
I can not understand.
