PENNIES IN THE BANK
Right on cue right out of the blue
By the skin of false teeth
and not a moment too soon
An ending unwritten
Gun shy twice bitten as the setting suns setting
See words the pale man's written
Written by the light of the moon
A penny for your thoughtz
On the thoughtz that we forgot
On the thing's that we sought when we thought we ought not
Just keep your twos cents worth
No wait on second thought
I done forgot the rethought with this unthought thought
"Everything that has a price it may be sought but not be bought
So if you think two wooden nickelz makes a dime then think now
Now one thing's not for sure
Is just how far this dead end goes
You'll be riding chasing rainbows
Getting fooled by full potz of foolz gold
Now the truth can not be bought down here them liez has done Been sold
Bought by counterfeit smiles and paid with pocketz full of plastic pesos A penny saved is a penny Earned that's a penny for thoughtless thoughtz
Don't be senseless keep your twos centz
And just put it with what you got Then I'll give you mine plus one times two with an
I O U and an I O U NOT

LOVE THIS !!! The spontaneity and the rat tat tat and how the rhyme just keeps coming at me like baseball words from an out of control pitching machine in a batting cage leaves me all sweaty and out of breath.

Thanks for your response. This is the kind of feedback I want to hear. My RAT TAT TAT rhyme can be more than a bit of a mouthful sometimes and even cause me to lose the flow but if you s say you was a little winded after reading this then it sounds like you kept step.
