Rockhollow's April Swing

Title: Rockhollow's April Swing
Twenty Eight of Thirty
Unique Words: Eighty-Nine

#NaPoWriMo19

In the space where dandelions blow,
their seeds and I most humbly share
and in it my soul is as strong as she is weak,
where the sky is as light as it is bleak.

In this place flowering currants are new,
promising a fruit mostly see-through,
where mangetout begin climbing old sticks,
each bed seems abundant with life.

The blueberry is happier in pot
and the dwarf rose seems joyful too,
though they're tipping over now
the forget me nots are brighter somehow.

Birds say "Goodnight," to the Sun
and a day of our living is done,
there's such peace to be found on this swing,
from above, from beneath, here is love.
