TAX SEASON

Have you ever heard about A.C. Green,
The iron man of the NBA scene?
He promised, “If I can breathe, I can play”
And I’m thinking about those words today,
Working through torn up parts of my shoulder—
Still this weighs less than Sisyphus’ boulder!
My hearing split up like double-vision,
Sinuses blocked and throat demolition,
Everything swirling around like crazy—
This is no time to give in to lazy!
I’m in the last two weeks, production hell;
Come April fifteenth, all’s well that ends well.
