The Narcissist

accepts no blame himself-                            
perpetually plays the victim;                              
sings the song of                              
"I've been wronged!"                              
as a siren off the coast                              
garnering the unsuspecting                               
against rocks of destruction                              
( this is a proven mental health    
fact, not my opinion )    
   
Their grandiose sense    
of entitlement ignores    
boundaries regarding    
a target's private life:    
   
they shadow moves    
stalk social accounts-    
invade circles of friends    
employers and clients    
of the victim to insert    
their presence in vain    
attempts to intimidate;    
they mimic accomplishments
and compete with jealous acts    
of underhanded tactics;    
   
they refuse to accept responsibility    
for any part of a circumstance

and timestamps )    
because nothing    
is ever their fault    
( more medical facts );    
   
afterall, they haven't done a thing    
to be ignored or not be loved  
( sarcasm, if you're unsure )    
   
Well listen;    
the jig's up -    
   
I am done being stalked    
harassed, messaged-    
my privacy invaded,    
client accounts infiltrated    
poetry desecrated    
attempts at positive unity    
and community spirit    
tainted by false pity parties    
feigning themselves a victim    
   
What part of                    
                    
LEAVE. ME. ALONE.    
   
do they not comprehend?                              
   
No. Means. NO.    
Everyone has a right    
to amputate the toxicity
of a diseased growth    
from their life    
to live peacefully happy    
   
I have been counseled    
to ignore, evade, swim around    
the baited attention hook-    
"Do NOT confront -    
do NOT respond "    
OUT the situation    
garner support for the Truth-    
kill their power; therefore,    
   
I REFUSE to be forced to engage    
because of how things seem-    
I REFUSE to carry    
another's mental illness as weight    
   
Women and men,    
take a stand up    
if you are a victim of narcissistic abuse;    
refuse to participate    
despite what others think    
   
Those who truly know you    
know  there is a valid reason    
for your actions    
   
To those who know the truth    
and stand by you - be grateful;    
to others who would judge you    
without the whole story -    
   
it's their choice-    
let it go. . .    
   
But, the show WILL go on    
because Poetry, Life, and Love    
are meant to be enjoyed
