Joy Leak

I went outside
in your blue bathrobe
It went down to my feet

but left the sun on my toes;
graves in my eyes,
I sat on your steps
to sing.

I sang to the headstones
I sang to the day
I sang to the dead bones -
I sang them awake

and I sang to the strangers
I sang to the street
I sang until my little blissful cheekbones grown pink

Ah, you cut me a joy leak
Boy, please, keep on breathing
Oh, I care for you so, and the twitches in your toes when you're sleeping!
A joy leak - enjoy your free green eyes...
My only condition is you getting warm when they shine.

-

I sang to Milo the cat
and your mini coop
I sang to the brick in the steps
and the ritual

missing you -
even getting to miss you is a gift I adore!
Sizzling, too -
don't care about keeping you -
nah, nothing but warm!

so it's not if, then
but a matter of when
Before I put the soft gloss of my love on my lips
Then I'll get you all sticky
In the honey that pours
from my mind like a hive,
a neon sign to the queen bee in yours.

You cut me a joy leak
Boy, please, keep on breathing
Oh, I care for you so, and the twitches in your toes when you're sleeping!
A joy leak - enjoy your free green eyes...
My only condition is you getting warm when they shine.

Ain't one to hold back, love
 So get underneath!
My affection gonna press you like some good-morning-hot shower steam -
or if you want it in the evening,
darlin, you got it...
My point is, I'm kissing you clean and it's gonna be hot -

Yes, you cut me a joy leak, boy, please keep talking . . .
I'ma teach you you deserve all my love
until you been taught it!

You gave me a joy leak
Boy, please, keep on breathing
Oh, I care for you so, and the twitches in your toes when you're sleeping!
A joy leak - enjoy your free green eyes...
My only condition is you getting warm when they shine.

A joy leak in the bathroom sink today
It came on the day that I met you
and it wants to stay.
