am I light or am I dark
am I near or far apart
 
have imperfections imploded
upon my mental mean
 
is there beauty left inside of me
 
my eyes have welled and I can't see
sleepless nights encountering
 
the world wraps round
no answers found
would life make sense
six feet underground
 
words that linger in a wounded soul
a warrior imprisoned
the bells have tolled
 
daylight harkens but I'm afraid
thoughts have quickened
