Listen to that rhythm
feel this pounding beat
let the sound engulf you
as we rise up from the seat
let us share a moment ...
embrace; let our eyes meet
hand in hand and heart in mouth
your scented hair; I feel the heat
as we whirl, twist and spin I admire
the set of a jaw-line, your head so neat
poise personified, arched back
poetry in motion; perfect feet
on cloud nine, in a trance
our lives, this love; our reality
when you come and dance ....

I like the consistent "ee", "ea" rhyming, it holds the poem so nicely together. And yes dancing makes you feel alive:)
