What can I give you?
What can I give you,
That I cannot give myself?
The answer is simple,
Albeit saddening.
For I,
Would try to give you the world,
The sun,
The planets,
And everything else and in between.
Everything,
For you.
Although,
For myself,
Well I reserve little to nothing.
I try to give you the mountains,
Snow atop peaks,
Rocks crumbling downward.
All for you.
While giving myself,
Barely the dirt at the base of said mountain peaks.
So ask again,
What could I possibly give you,
That I could not give myself.
I can try and give you everything,
The entire world in your hands.
While I cannot even attempt to give myself,
Even the smallest of things.
That I cannot give myself?
The answer is simple,
Albeit saddening.
For I,
Would try to give you the world,
The sun,
The planets,
And everything else and in between.
Everything,
For you.
Although,
For myself,
Well I reserve little to nothing.
I try to give you the mountains,
Snow atop peaks,
Rocks crumbling downward.
All for you.
While giving myself,
Barely the dirt at the base of said mountain peaks.
So ask again,
What could I possibly give you,
That I could not give myself.
I can try and give you everything,
The entire world in your hands.
While I cannot even attempt to give myself,
Even the smallest of things.
