Murdered In The Night
I wake up
The house is eerily quiet
The sun is shining bright in the window
I walk downstairs
Then I scream
Blood is everywhere
I see a lifeless body on the couch
I'm next her now
Crying and begging her to come back
I yell for my sister to wake up
It's too late
Her throat is slit
I run to my parents room
Blood
Nothing but blood everywhere
Their throats cut too
I can't think straight
All I can do is cry
Grief is weighing me down
I can't see though the tears
My life turned upside down
I yell for help but no one comes
I awaken with a gasp
My body jolts up
I sit on my bed with tears in my eyes
It was so vivid in the moment
But it wasn't real
Just a nightmare
Another one...
