Don’t fall in love
When your heart is the only sound
The pain is heard in each heartbeat
Just picture the anguish
Romance isn’t for everyone
On the dance floor of life
Never accept the invitation to dance
Throw out the chocolates
Let the flowers die
Romance is just a trick of the light
The scars show a repeat offender
A smile hides everything
An imperfect disguise
That attracts the wrong flame
Romance is a boomerang
Seduction is just false whispers
That leads to an icy ending
Sometimes there’s no escape
Dreams bring empty hopes
Romance is a bleeding wound

Oh this is my favorite advice on love I have ever heard. Love is so big but it can let us down in the little ways. I like your four word title and then the four verses following. A very pleasant read. Florists need to put this on the back of the cards that go out with the Valentine vase of roses. I will never trust chocolate again.
