As we lie together and watch the sunrise,
Wisps of colorful clouds paint the violet-blue skies;

There is something about this writing that feels uncannily familiar. I have no idea why. Could it be that language works in mysterious ways?

Thanks so much! I'm really glad that you enjoyed it. I wrote this one years ago, but 'refound' it on my old laptop and decided to post it. Since many others seem to enjoy it, I'm glad that I did :)

i hope one day, when we as humans get our shit together, i might SEE what You have seen in the skies.
But for now, it's only an illusion as i live in smog filled populated areas and my skies are beautiful
oranges, pinks, and scattered reds and yellows.
