Gogyoshi Poem Nr.01 Colours Of Time
I was born in a different era
where there were colours you cant get now,
colours that one day will be re-discovered
explained in a new language
and sold as original.

Re. Colours Of Time
Love the style and content, Josh. Japanese forms have always been a favorite. Their brevity usually coupled with exquisite art are breathtaking.
I wish you'd start a comp for form. It would truly be a learning experience for DUP.
Hope you had a Happy Christmas and 2019 is blessed with an abundance of what matters most: love, peace, and health.

Thank you Ahavati - and all blessings for 2019.
I'm still considering a comp-series for form - but have a tendency to start things with great gusto and then fizzle out; I wouldn't want to do that so have to determine a pace I can maintain. :))

I hope so too; I'm, beginning to feel less and less at home in this world. :))
Thank you for the read.

I'm not at all familiar with the gogyoshi form, but I love this. The colors I remember from my past are Day-Glow, favored by the hippies. About time their brightness returned.

Thanks for reading Crowfly.
A gogyoshi is simply a 5-line poem with no other demands
(in Japanese there is a requirement for an element of aesthetics and lyric, which don't really fit English language - see: gogyoshi.com)

Hello aizutaro. Thank you for commenting. And welcome to deepundergroundpoetry
The title is "Colours of Time" ... but maybe I have not understood Gogyoshi poems. As the founder of world gogyoshi, maybe you can help and correct me? And congratulations on publishing the 5th anthology. Best regards, Josh.
