true love is sky blue
the beauty in me is hidden in the truth of you
I see my reflection in your eyes
a beauty of a person tried and true
stargazing when I look at you
I see the woman I want to be
because that's who you deserve
the lady caught in your stare is beautiful
she lights up your life
when I look in the mirror I search for her
I see my flaws looking back
is she a mirage?
is this some sort of strange magic?
no, she is who you know I am skin deep
you see my soul when you look at me
I scoured the heavens searching for the truth
it was always right in front of me
safe and secure in your sky blues
you know all my flaws
and love me still

This is beautiful, I love the expression sky blues. It reminds me of a song by paolo named better man. If you love somebody you want to give them your best and when they love you back they'll take you any way you come :)

Loving this piece..... We tend to see all our flaws but to the one we love and the one that loves us they only see what is right looking past the flaws and seeing our soul... If only we can see that same reflection, reflecting back to us of us..... Love it.
