Message from the Masses

The profanity of humanity
this planet’s a disgrace ,
plainly obvious as the
nose on your face .
Time to take stock ,
snap out of the shock
of these things commonplace -
Opportunism , consumerism , rationalism ,
Capitalism , commercialism , terrorism …
we declare , this world’s in a state !
 
Water shortage , radioactive waste storage ,
nuclear proliferation …
PLEASE EXCUSE OUR TREPIDATION !
deforestation , greenhouse gases , pollution ,
we can no longer afford to
conceal the solutions .
 
Tv junkies , media inducement , egos ,
personalities , Hollywood propaganda ,
we can no longer condone these
delusions of grandeur !
Religious fanatics , racist rednecks ,
Bigots , bogans , white supremesists ,
it’s time for a new world conciousness !
 
Addiction , obsession , deception , oppression ,
hardly a surprise we suffer depression .
Abduction , slavery , crime , abortion ,
TOO MUCH we say !
not a distortion …
 
Assasins , druglords , militarisation ,
deadly diseases , famished nations ,
environment killers , industrialisation ..
corporate psychopaths , corrupt cops ,
government warlords -
WHEN WILL  IT STOP ?
 
Endangered species , fallacious politicians ,
paedophile priests , homophobics ,
elitists and wealthy extravagant beasts ,
world superpowers , tyrannous dictators ,
and last but not least .. US !
Societies spectators .
 
None of this defines who we really are ,
yet sadly it reflects that which we
have achieved so far.
 
We must realise now that as a species
WE ARE ONE ..
Inseparable by self imposed prejudiced puns ,
And all that is greed we must earnestly shun !
 
Established beliefs of race , creed and religion
we must smite !
And adopt that which a wise man did write -
 
 
EARTH IS OUR HOME
HUMANITY IS OUR FAMILY
LIFE IS OUR RELIGION
AND LOVE IS OUR EXAMPLE
PEACE AND FREEDOM
BELONG TO US ALL -
 
This is the only understanding that
Can prevent our downfall -
and united mankind
could finally stand tall !
