A smile is a blanket
Covering all forms of tears and fear
A smile is hope
Shining bright as the sun,
The light.
A smile is a facade
Make believe stories that aren't true
A smile is deception
An enemy, a broken pillar
Leading to your ruin
A smile is a friend,
A golden companion to will you through
A smile is pain
Nullifying all of your emotions
A smile says I'm okay
A little lie that everything's fine.
A smile you see, It seems
Can make or break our lives.
