The Bell Tolls
(collab of Bliss and Prophet)
Hellbent the disaster
Impending
Through turns
Insidious in nature
The bell tolls
For us all
The clock chimes
Beware, the time has struck,
The hour has come
To power we succumb,
We're falling so fast,
For we've run out of gas
Don't be so crass
My good chum
Big Vast Pastures
Surrounded
Falling
Upwards
United
Petals
Pedals
Pedestals
Shattered
Even if Flattered,
One gets Nowhere,
For Every step forward
is three steps back,
defending an attack.
Not sure of the facts,
of how one interacts.
All my gut feelings and wishin'
No substitute for intuition
Deciduous the tree
Beckons the cat calls
The night rested
Best not feel the blessed
One's breathe wrecks
Havoc on
Nooks beset
Cornered
In corners
Flavored in
Flairs
Gone horribly
Wild
Lost on the floor,
In the corner,
The wallflower
rips up his roots,
Shuffling a few steps,
And spinning in the light.
Leaves bud and flower,
Flowers bring forth fruit,
Life opens its petals,
To close in on itself,
Under the cover of night
Light spills
From all corners
To every synapse
The mind can surge
Send signals towards
The flowers fruits and seeds
Are but players in the grandest
Scheme known to man
Life can never be predicted
predetermined
or even foreseen
Too much knowledge not known
Just ask Armani
Seeking more forbidden fruit
Will never be the problem
The knowledge is there,
if we but seek it.
We have but to reach out,
Grab it, Take it,
Taste it, feast on its flesh,
Devour the Pulp and juice.
We may have our fill,
If that is what we wish.
Naught is forbidden
in the realm of knowledge
anymore
However,
in the realm of Spirit,
Upon the Causal Plane,
Much will remain
Unknown
and unknowable.
The shroud of mystery,
that is Maya,
the illusion of this life,
Emerges from the shadows,
Into the light, if but for a moment,
Slipping back into darkness
once more.
Ever shifting, changing,
Being, breathing,
Our lifeblood of existence,
born in passion and pain
cradled within a memory,
& Wrapped
within a Dream,
Eternity in an Instant,
Pulsing
Here and Now
Hellbent the disaster
Impending
Through turns
Insidious in nature
The bell tolls
For us all
