Tortured Head

Cranium destructo
gnarled tree limbs
rooted
Cement
Lifted branches, skyward,
Reaching up
and out
Further throughout
Wrangles
Crop top
Eagle head got
Clout
Sir I'm talking to you
Can't you see this grating
Feeling inside won't step
Away
Lay your tortured head
To play
Let us stay
aim these puddles of clay
No, it just won't stay away,
Not today, or any other day.
Thank you sir,
May I have another?
And the blows keep coming
and coming,...

My Very Soul

Crazy kangaroos
got out the zoo earlier
sent all the
animal control hounds
on patrol
burning lights
steering life
through out
the lazy eyed

Snuck up on the old man
Sniveling
Cotton clouds dust
Jest the shame away
These dust clouds
roll, proud across
the plains
I breathe them
into my very being
Into my very soul
So much that
I don't remember
Air without dust.
I live within the dust,
The dust lives within me

Grains of Time

Cacti in the sun
Prickle the passerby
Come too near
Leering at these clouds
Now
Blocking the delicious rays
needed
Soak up life's water
Hold it deep within,
Save it Inside,
For, There may come a Day
When,
The sun will overheat,
And dry you
from the inside, out
Outside In
The rightside
Within
From roots
Rooted deep
The ground
Anchors
All
The sky
Open
All around
Here,
the desert
is so flat
and massive,
You can
see...
Cacti in the sun

Mine The Gap

Gloss the finish
Cold Hard Cash
The lingo spread
The hive's diseased
Wafers
Street cred desired
Jive turkey spouting
Mad ill tripe soup
To the misbegotten
Drunks
Mending fences
Torched
Bridges burnt
unto the ground,
leaving a wild ravine
between,
Seeking to fly,
Don't try
to leap the gap...
Just like a swan
Whose wings
they tried
to clip
but
they slipped,
only clipping
one,
Leaping
for
The other side,
Just spin again,...

Destitute & Divided

As a confused child darting away
From a nameless fear, I saw myself
destitute, terrorized by existence –
Behind me stood and preserved my
every moment in their sublime size
three divine men, but I could
not quell the storm of the lower orders;
my Fright and the power
From below swelled and roared
unto the end of time, when
Suddenly I was lifted above and
beyond time, into the supra silence of
eternity.
I saw the three faces of...

Don't sleep.
You'll regret
every
dream.
Losing Lucidity
and forgetting
to remember
These walls bleed true sanity indeed.
I think
I feel
I know
I'm dreaming
A zombie
sunset
devours the light.
To escape,
I float
and fly
bitten down
under blankets
true plastic
In his heart he left her.
Shadows on the wall.
Blocked Light
Broken words bleeding...

Melt

(I.)
Now, we must inevitably greet time headlong
Like ice cubes melting in the bottom of a glass
Eventually, all the clinking slows down
Then all that is frozen solid is reduced to water
You see, it's all coming together
We're all coming together
This is not a loss - the ice is but changing
As we melt, we are both coming together and being set free
Our pursuit is about transformation and reinvention...

A Movement,
And Orion
comes down
from the skies,
from up on High,
To Interact
As a Playful Babe,
Understanding
The World
as an
Accepting Place,
While I’m
Sitting in the Shade,
Soakin’ up the Vibes,
All about Family,
Togetherness & PARTY,
We’ve all come
Together
in this Place,
to experience
the sacred rite
of unity
through
community
moving into
A Movement,
And Orion
comes down
from the skies,
from up on High,
To Interact
As a Playful Babe,

The World
as an

The Ties that Bind and Gag
Well, this is family,
These are the ties that bind,
and sometimes gag
Miter saws and angle
Three-hundred sixty degrees
in a circle
And all shapes—
No, that’s NOT right!
Shapes have different amounts
of angles, depending on
the number of sides.
Geometry and building,
versus theological symbology
Complementary and supplementary angles
screaming, “There’s one hundred
and eighty degrees
in a straight line —
and a triangle!”
No, that’s half of a circle,
a half rotation,
of physicality, materially —...
These are the ties that bind,
and sometimes gag

Change happens;
it is inevitable.
Everything happens;
just not much to me.
All happens at all times,
just not everywhere!
Things happen for a reason
Knowing the reason is everything.
As one’s perspective grows,
so does one’s learning and knowledge.
Time itself is endless,
yet ours is always limited.
Why?
Is mortality a curse or blessing?
And what about immortality?
One can only know
when one has truly been.
Truth, itself, is pure & eternal. ...

The vacancy at the hotel made me feel more alone
The bounce of my voice off the wall the only
Answer to my incessant questioning.
Can anyone hear me? Not I!
Searching my mind I tangle with threads
Further webs of confusion
Do I know you?...

LIFE IS KARMA
(I.) ANCIENT SOULS
This is a story told
countless times in time’s
radiance grace of aeons,
ages & generations—
We are the ANCIENTS,
The Ancient Souls that
Time Forgot it Forgot
& we came from our
Dying Worlds in
Escape Pods
to seed the galaxies
with the Knowledge of
Mankind
We Must Survive
to teach that Knowledge
To the Generations
We Have Much to
Teach them
If they only want to learn
(II.) LIFE IS HUMBLING
Half asleep scribbles, ...
This is a story told
