It's So Easy
Coming on empty
Somewhere in South Dakota
Cutthroats following me
To scalp my hide
One says give up
The other wants my pistol
And the wedding ring
I stole from him
I want it easy
Live life on a beach
Or a final stand in a creek
It's so easy
When your wanted
To let the crazy settle on in
Sweet as daisy
To lay under the shade
Eat the jerky and drink my wine
My horse looking on
With little worry
I'll wait for them right here
If I end up as a corpse
Hope it's sudden
I want it easy
Live life on a beach
Or a final stand in a creek
It's so easy
When your wanted
To let the crazy settle on in
They arrived
Six and some change
Shotgun fire killed almost all
The last raise hands
He sat next to me
Me and him talked the day
I returned his property
He tagged along
Somewhere in South Dakota
Cutthroats following me
To scalp my hide
One says give up
The other wants my pistol
And the wedding ring
I stole from him
I want it easy
Live life on a beach
Or a final stand in a creek
It's so easy
When your wanted
To let the crazy settle on in
Sweet as daisy
To lay under the shade
Eat the jerky and drink my wine
My horse looking on
With little worry
I'll wait for them right here
If I end up as a corpse
Hope it's sudden
I want it easy
Live life on a beach
Or a final stand in a creek
It's so easy
When your wanted
To let the crazy settle on in
They arrived
Six and some change
Shotgun fire killed almost all
The last raise hands

Me and him talked the day
I returned his property
He tagged along
