A Mind Off-Grid, Nr.11 - Miss Conception
When Jesus was born to an innocent sweet young maiden
she said Woah! How did that happen?
and she didn’t know what to reckon.
But with that singular question
she initiated the long history
of an immaculate misconception.
she said Woah! How did that happen?
and she didn’t know what to reckon.
But with that singular question
she initiated the long history
of an immaculate misconception.

Re. Miss Conception
I'm a Christian, so I try my damndest to believe in the immaculate conception version. It is a stretch, though. In any case I love this thought provoking write.

Thank you Crowfly for your straight reply. I have a long background in things Christian and have had to re-assess over the years certain aspects of being asked to "just accept it in (blind) faith" since "with God, all things are possible". I suppose the question is - how relevant are certain details-of-faith to our current predicament when there is such a vital need to act collaboratively to help each other, and the planet. Thanks again for commenting, Josh.

Thank you for reading and commenting, Tallen. I guess religions are designed for longevity, and in that respect I guess also that the various long-held beliefs are evidence they are "fit-for-purpose".
