New Moon in Virgo

I’ve returned from my brief travels
To find a new world unraveled
The wind is on the chillier side
And my yellow wildflowers have died
All the cats are starved for love
While the hens don’t give a cluck
And a New Moon casts its shadow
Where the weeping willow wallows
So the time has come to refocus
Meditate holding the asana Lotus
Preparing for a future I’ve sown
Becoming into thyself as grown
Abiding time with each breath released
Honing my power, my will, my peace
