Autumn Love

She beckons me into her flame,
Caressing me with angel wings.
This passion plays a wicked game,
As love cascades like desert spring.

This dappled core of destiny,
As summer fades in shades of grey.
The longing that she stirs in me,
On lonely nights sweet thoughts pervade.

My love for her in Autumn's shroud;
My soul unbridled by her verse.
Her beauty lifts me like a cloud,
This strange desire I shall immerse.

A tender touch of feathered quill;
The mournful sun of harvest gloom.
The blissful air as morning chills,
A taste of her in every room.

The pallid wash of autumn sky;
The falling leaves on frozen ground.
This feeling does electrify,
A love so pure is tightly bound.

She whispers as I sleep adrift,
Into the arms of velvet night.
Her psychic waves converse in mist,
This beauty rains a golden light.
