It was kind of crazy
back when things just happened in the blink of an eye.
For me,
It was during some turbulent times,
when I didnt know where I was sleeping each night.

But somehow , I managed to get by.
Barely,
is what it always felt like.
And , I met you
through some friend of a friend.
That story goes on
and it did have an end.

But you showed me
that once I was in;
in your home
in your life....
While your mom would laugh with me
your family was tight

And, as I was accepted,
just like you, your sister and brothers
Your mom gave her all
(in that group of great mothers).

She has passed on
and I miss her so.
Now you and your brother
have followed in tow.

I wish only that peace
finds you all now at last.
I will miss you , true family-
I'm thankful to have had.....
